As a baby, I used to construct worlds for my Barbies. I’d spend countless hours with my sister, Religion, crafting intricate realms, stitching tiny clothes from vibrant materials, and fashioning furnishings from corks, toothpicks, and bottle caps! Early experiences like these launched me to the magic of design and impressed me to turn out to be a designer and artist. We had our first name with the Mattel group (the kindest, most inventive bunch!) on a Friday and the next Monday we have been at their workplaces perusing their classic Barbie furnishings archives, searching for our dreamhouse! I even received to carry Ida! It was unimaginable. The artistry and a focus to element that goes into constructing (or in some instances sourcing) all issues Barbie is de facto inspiring.

After that, we headed again to the Jungalow studio and I began concepting. I gathered inspiration photos and rendered a room that I might see Barbie and her associates having a celebration in. The superb Mattel group introduced my idea to life (the photograph on the very high of this weblog submit is NOT photoshopped! It was truly constructed to Barbie scale–the material and textiles have been truly made with our prints, and so they even created teeny tiny variations of my books! ahhh!) and now I simply need to chill with Barbie there all day lengthy!
